If you get to Doolin make sure you stay at least a couple of days. It's a place where you can relax, go for a hiking tour or on a bike ride. The area certainly has a lot to offer and lovers of the countryside will be satisfied as well as those of you who are fond of the sea. Visit attractions like the Doolin Cave, make a trip to the Burren and of course the beautiful Cliffs of Moher. Grab great pub food, and have a chat with the hearty people living in the area. I stayed at Glasha Meadows B&B for the second time and Mr. McDonagh even remembered me which is situated just a short walk from Doolin. The heartiness and helpfulness of the McDonagh family are stunning. When I got out the bus on my arrival I accidentally picked up the wrong backpack and before I realised the bus had already been gone heading for Galway. Mr. McDonagh made a few calls and I got it back in a few hours while he took us to the Cliffs and drove us to Dermott's Pub where we had some great food go for the Irish Guinness Stew or the lamb burger and a pint. The accommodation at Glasha Meadows B&B is great, the rooms are tidy, with enough space, hot shower, hair dryer, TV, Wifi and you can choose from a rich menu for breakfast like Full Irish, scrambled eggs, pancakes, cereals, fruit and freshly brewed coffee, tea or orange juice. I personally would like to thank the family for their efforts of making us feel at home. Thank you very much for everything!!! We'll be back! P.S. If there's god, he's most probably irish! P.S.
